An Evening With The Raving Micks

Although the event was promoted as the “Raven Micks”, it transpired they have a new name – “The Raving Micks”. The group still consists of the same talented bunch of guys, including 2 members from our own congregation. The songs, with an easy-listening backing were well known – Irish, English and Scottish. Talking of instruments, one ancient and unique relic was dug up in a far away place! In fact it was carried round the Hall to enable the audience to have a closer look.  At the interval, everyone was offered an ice cream and a paper bag of goodies. The evening was a huge success, with £1000 being raised for Church funds.
